Mixtape Review: He-Man Huff - Welcome 2 My Party [Frat House Edition]

He-Man Huff - Welcome 2 My Party Vol.2 [Frat House Edition] // Free Mixtape @ datpiff.com

2nd installment into the "Welcome 2 My Party" series. Featuring A2thaMo, JayGo, Mr.Showtime, Comp C, Mr. Duece, Thuggy Fresh, and Daddy GoGo.

Written by Focus The Producer

Most known for his influential presence in the SoundClick society, He-Man Huff has been on his hip hop grind for years. With hundreds of records released to this day, he has undoubtedly proven that he has what it takes to last in the industry and constantly come up with new material. Today we are talking about his 2011 release Welcome 2 My Party [Frat House Edition] on datpiff.com. The mixtape has an out of the box approach even for that day in time. With street records like "Watch What You Say feat. Thuggy Fresh" and records for the ladies like "Lady-N-Streets feat. Comp C x Mr.Deuce" this mixtape gives something for everybody to rock to.

Off top the mixtape started on a good foot with a record produced by the Bread Winners called "Another Hit". The salutes He-Man's dedication to the game. He delivers some great visual lyrics on this one that helps you understand his life as an artist and a person. Despite the obvious sound quality issues on this mixtape, over all I would say that it still brings a great deal of entertainment to the table. With records from producers like Vybe Beatz and Bread Winners of course that would be the case.

Now though we end the review with a Focus The Producer must have tradition and we ask the question, if I was approached by He-Man Huff in the streets and asked to purchase a copy of this mixtape would I?... Well I would first have to mention to him the obvious issues with his sound quality, and let him know to work on that flow a bit, and make sure he let's me know when the next one drops, but I would neglect to spend the green backs on this particular installment. When you are browsing through new music by rappers from Long Island, NY there is an exciting new record to take into consideration. 'Money Calling' is a motivational street anthem by underground rap artist E-reign of INDALAB. While E-reign may not be as well known as artists like Jay-z or Nas he is still well worth the listen. His style in this new record is a mixture of down south and east coast hip hop flavors. E-reign confidently spits about his intentions to make it to the top at all costs. The music production is also up to par with the beat provided by 'The Kid Carnaige' out of Long Island. This is sure to hit the streets where it hurts.

The fact that E-Reign spits so lyrically over a hard hitting, synth based, dirty south/trap instrumental makes this song fits just about any category you can think of. This is club music, hip hop music, 90's music and 21's century music all wrapped into one. If the promotion behind this song goes any where near as hard as the record itself the world will be in for a surprise. Did I mention that the hook song is absolutely contagious? This record is sure to go far in today's music industry, I just hope that the fans are ready to start hearing good music again, because this record is definitely it.

Maine Music - Underground R&b Singer from Long Island

Maine's Biography

Music is a major escape from life for many people around the world. It has to have a life of its own that the audience tends to feel for, and relate to. The artist must deliver a heart-felt performance, and attractive musical elements in order to make the cut. Maine, a singer from Long Island, New York the Central Islip area, is one of the few that have managed to deliver the goods.

The releases of his single 'I Can't Explain It' was an absolute success, as it soared to the top of the radio airplay charts. First debuting at no.2 and then taking over the top spot. In December 2013, the record was announced to be #1 on the internet radio station powerhouse IBFU Radio. The song was only on the air for 21 days before conquering the charts. It would remain on top for the next 5 weeks to come.

Growing up competing in talent shows and singing in church, Maine's evolution into the music game would come naturally, He had God-given ability to paint realistic pictures of everyday scenarios in the streets, which he personally coined as Ghetto R&B. Maine would go on to perform at events around the East Coast, at venues such as; The Vanderbilt, in Suffolk Co. where he opened for 112 and Eric Sermon on two separate occasions in 2000. And in 2002 he appeared on the stage of the Baltimore Arena along the sides of some of the heaviest hitters in the game like; 50 Cent, Baby (from Cash Money Records), Trina and the Clipse.

Maine has self-distributed thousands of records through the streets in his early days. He continues to make it happen by writing his own material having musical muses such as Donnell Jones, R. Kelly, Marvin Gaye, and Avant. Yet, has the vocal essence of Dave Hollister or Teddy Pendergrass, Maine is what your music line up is missing. His records are designed to be timeless, relate-able renditions of every lifestyle.

ORieL Barry's Biography

Oriel Barry was born on January 6, 1984 in Wesley, Dominica a small island in the Caribbean. Growing up, he was part of a drum band and was an active member of his school and church choir. Undoubtedly that was where he discovered and started to develop his passion for the art of music. Having experimented with the sounds of music his first serious involvement occurred when he migrated to Pittsburgh Pa and formed the sound system vybz Machine with friends in 2005. Oriel quickly settled in and earned his right as a popular club Dj, talented Studio Engineer and is among the best Graphic Designer in the region. His eclectic style fuses musical sounds from all genres. This shy, yet unreserved thrilling recording artist has no musical precincts.

Oriel always seen with his acoustic guitar, started dabbling with making beats and started Lamar Clan with co-vybz machine DJ Fudgie Springer where he released the vybz Riddim, which was LC’s first project that garnered a lot of attention in the underground dancehall circuit. This was a stepping stone towards his goal of writing, recording and producing his own music. Oriel describes his music as ‘’Reggae/Fusion’’ which is mostly reggae fused with the sound of Jazz, RnB, Rock, Blues and Hip Hop.

Jrell Rainman - Mississippi Rap Artist (Biography)

JRELL RAINMAN'S BIOGRAPHY

Jerrell Jones (born October 1, 1986) professionally known by the name Jrell Rainman is a hip hop recording artist based out of Jackson, Mississippi. The young Mississippi rap artist first became known on a major level with the release of the street single Dope Status featuring Florida recording artist Papa Duck. The record was first established as a massive hit when it peaked at no.1 on the IBFU Radio airplay charts in January of 2014. [reference] This would actually seal the deal on Jrell Rainman's immortality in hip hop as this meant he was doubling up on the radio airplay charts with his previous song Poles and Dollas, which was a previous no.1 record on IBFU Radio actually still ranked at no.3 on the airplay charts. [reference] Dope Status quickly jumped up in the top sellers list on AmazonMP3 peaking at #650,000, and remaining in the top sellers list to this day. [reference]

The next release from Jrell Rainman would come months later in the form of Never Forget. The Mississippi rap artist took on a lighter approach with this record giving the world something to use as a source of motivation through the struggle. The song world premiered at no.1 on YouTube and top 10 Google for the search term Mississippi Rap Artist embedding Jrell Rainman even deeper into the history of underground rap music. [reference] In May of 2014 Jrell Rainman would follow up on Never Forget with a record featuring Warner Bros. recording artist Gucci Mane called Money Do. The record was exclusively leaked by University of Richmond Dj Black Liquid of WDCE 90.1 FM.

To this date Jrell Rainman is ranked in the top 10 Mississippi rap artists, and the top 40 underground rap artists worldwide on Google. He has also just launched his new label and brand called Hustle With Determination. I am sure we can expect a lot more music and a lot more accolades from Jrell Rainman in the future. After all, he has done all of this as an independent recording artist. Check out the official website of Jrell Rainman - http://www.rainmanbars.com

Why is reggae fusion not appreciated any more?

Now-a-days reggae fusion music is very much unappreciated. People act like since the days of Bob Marley we have no hope in the world of reggae music. However, there are tons of reggae artists out here that deserve to be listened to. You have guys like Jah Cure, Damien Marley and ORieL Barry who have taken up the slack and put the reggae world on their backs, keeping good music coming consistently.

ORieL Barry has just completed a historic collaboration with grammy award winner Richie Stephens on his new record 'Give Me a Reason'. As a matter of fact ORieL is one of the best prospects to step into the game since the late great legend. He has captured an audience in over 12 different countries and captured a top spot as a reggae fusion artist with his website afarmusicgroup.com being ranked top 10 globally.

Since the early 2000's when dancehall music broke into the world of music on a global scale, we have yet to see a comeback for reggae music artists on that type of level. I highly believe that the music industry could use some of the cool, melodic vibes that reggae fusion music brings to the table. Given the fact that the likes of reggae played a key role in originating hip hop, I think this action is long over due.

Underground R&b Artist Maine Captures Another Top Ten Place in The Radio Airplay Charts

Original Story by Major Music Promotions [PressParty]

Underground R&b Music News -- Independent recording artist Jermaine S. Johnson a.k.a Maine, has made the final cut once again. IBFU Radio has announced the top 10 underground artists for week 3 of January 2014. Maine locked down the no. 2 spot on the charts, and remained in the charts for the 7th consecutive week.

"Its a blessing that the song is doing well, I hope everybody keeps listening. I also have another record on the way that I hope will have the same success. Its a pop record called 'Henny' along the lines of Trey Songz 'Say Aah' which is already completed and ready for release. The song is actually about Bacardi as well, but we mention Henny so much more it became the title".

The new release I am sure is very anticipated at this point, as Maine is one of the top underground r&b artists in the world and 'I Can't Explain It' is bringing in an average of 15+ new listeners every day. Take a listen to 'I Can't Explain It' for yourself below.
